Addiction Awareness Group is a psychoeducational group. It is for individuals who struggle with their use of alcohol and/or other drug use. However, they lack the coping skills for living a substance-free lifestyle.
Alcohol Awareness Group is a psychoeducational group is for individuals who have experienced the physiological effects of alcohol and drugs. This is a 15 session curriculum, that focuses on driving consequences. As a result is motivational in nature. However, it challenges clients to consider the ways in which continued substance use will interfere with their values.
Anger Management Group is a group for individuals who struggle with healthier ways of managing feelings of frustration and anger. This process utilizes gender-specific therapeutic interventions. This 12 session group uses an evidence-based curriculum, that will educate people to recognize when their anger is escalating. In addition, they develop an individualized anger management plan that allows for better control.
Relapse Prevention focuses on individuals who are maintaining, reasonably stable, sober lives. Participants learn to recognize addiction triggers, develop problem-solving and coping skills. As a result, you will learn to identify and learn to avoid high-risk situations. A return to addiction causes additional pain, heartache, and treatment.
